Torre Monumental (English Tower)
A sixty metre Elizabethan revival tower given by the British residents for the 1910 centenary and opened in 1916, built almost entirely from materials shipped from England.
💬 Your driver's tipYou can go up again: the sixth floor viewpoint reopened in October 2024 after restoration and a lift takes you there. Entry is ticketed and Wednesday is free for Argentine residents only. Some city pages still say visits are suspended for covid, which is out of date.
